Our story
Started with one goal: close the gap between idea and done.
If you have hired an agency before, you know the pattern: you explain your business to an account manager, who explains it to a project manager, who explains it to a developer. Every handoff adds time, cost and room for misunderstanding. Function Dynamic started in 2020 on a simple idea: you should be able to talk directly to the person building your system.
Over the past six years, that has meant custom applications, document automation, integrations, data migrations, dashboards and, more recently, AI-assisted workflows, for businesses across many industries. Most clients started with one small project and kept building from there.

Leadership
Lee Van Buskirk, owner and developer
Lee has been developing software for more than a decade and started Function Dynamic because he believed he could serve businesses more efficiently on his own than a typical agency could. He has a degree in philosophy (don’t hold that against him), diploma in software development, and is working on his Mandarin. When you work with Function Dynamic, Lee is the person you talk to and the person who builds your system.
